On Tuesday morning we got up early and went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory in Tillamook.
We toured the factory, tried some cheese and then got ice cream.
They have the best ice cream -- S'mores is my favorite.
After Tillamook we drove to Rockaway beach to check it out. The kids loved this old train.
Then we drove further north to Cannon Beach.
Some of us didn't swim... some of us had jackets on... and then there's Mae and Will swimming!
We took a walk down the beach, had lunch, played in the sand and got a bit wind-blown but it was gorgeous.

After Cannon Beach we drove north and passed by the cutest little beach towns. I'd love to go back one day and do some more exploring. We got to Astoria and visited the Goonies house. This was on my bucket list and it was awesome to see in person!
We have watched Goonies several times with Mae and Will so they were just as excited as we were.
Astoria is a beautiful little sleepy town. I'd love to go back and stay for awhile. This was a busy but very fun day... one that I definitely won't be forgetting.
