Bear Lake

A few weeks ago we had a little camping one-nighter to try it out with the kiddos. They loved it! And we were so excited to go again. Over the holiday weeekend we thought it would be perfect to go to Bear Lake. We camping with cousins Ryan, Laura & Kate and were also able to see Megan and Rob for a bit which was great!

These pictures are completely mixed up, but I'm sure it only bothers me! We camped in the Idaho side and it was beautiful!

This is how they slept! It was so cute. On our 2nd night, we layed them in bed and gave them their cool flashlights and told them they could play with them as long as they layed down. I wasn't sure if it would work, since it wasn't even dark yet, but they were so tired! Matt and I left the tent and within 10 minutes the flashlights had stopped moving... they were asleep.

Mae and Will liked visiting this horse down the road from our camp. I had to teach them that they could feed it weeds but the key is, you have to let go once the horse is comping down 2 inches from your fingers!

This is how Will swims. Matt and Ryan wanted to rent a boat so they were so sad to find out there weren't anymore on the entire lake to rent. Will was especially sad about it and kept saying "Lets get a boat, Daddy!" and then he'd see a boat drive by and say "I loooooooove boats!"

We weren't sure if we could actually camp 2 nights, but it turned out great! I can't wait to do it again.
