On Saturday Matt had a meeting for Stake Conference, but I ventured out with the kiddos anyway, to Silver Lake. The leaves are just starting to change. Mae pointed out all the colors as we drove through Big Cottonwood Canyon. It was just beautiful. Stephanie and her kids met us there as well as Eddie. It was a perfectly good use of an afternoon in September.

I love Silver Lake. That was one of our first dates. we carved our initials in a tree!
