Dear Toothfairy

Willy is way too young to have teeth popping out already!

But this one just wiggled its way out somehow.  Will wasn't scared (like Mae) so when it got to be insanely loose he let me wiggle it.  I just pulled it out with some gentle tugging.

He was happy to have it out "...because it was bugging me," he said.  Which would make sense because it was barely hanging on.

That night we talked about the toothfairy and Mae didn't let it slip about the reality behind it all.  She even helped Will write a note which said,

Dear tooth fery,

I want to ceep

my tooth.

Have you ever in your life heard of a child wanting to keep their tooth?!  Bizarre!

But the toothfairy was nice enough to allow Will to keep it.  

Then, the next night he changed his mind and decided he didn't want it after-all.  He put the tooth back in the box and under his pillow and somehow the good ol' tooth-fairy got the message to stop by again.
