On September 6th we drove to South California. We got a late start and didn't arrive until about 8:30! It was such a long day!
Of course, once we arrive we forget how horrible it was and we are reminded of how worth-it, it is!

| Watching a movie on the loooooong drive |
On Friday we got up early and drove to the San Diego Temple. Matt's cousin, Danny Steadman was getting married to Jazmin Mendoza. We are so happy for both of them! And we were so happy to be there for their special day.
All of the little girl cousins were flower girls. They took their responsibility very serious and really enjoy the entire day with their tutu's and parasols.

| Will was upset because I didn't bring any food-- dang it! |
After the ceremony we waited for the new couple to come out and then did pictures.

| Penny, Matt, Sterling, Timmy and Bohdi |

| Mae and Jacqueline -- adorable! |

 |
| Of the flower girls and boys... just for the record it was really hot outside |
It was such a gorgeous day!
After the temple we went to a Mexican restaurant in old town San Diego.
 |
| I am always taking pictures of flowers but don't know what to do with them... so here you go. |
 |
| Jazmin & Danny, Morgan, Penny, Mae, Savannah & Jazmin's neice |
After lunch we drove to Hemet to the Steadman residence and had just enough time for the children to cool off in the pool. To be honest, I REALLY wanted to swim too. It was so hot and we had been in our "church clothes" all day! They have been working on their yard for years and it is amazing -- such a perfect place for a wedding reception... we should know, ours was here too.
We helped set up for the reception -- how cute are those tables?!

| Nonny, Robby and Matt |
 |
| The Waner's -- Rob, Robby, Jacqueline and Megan |
They had a regular buffet and a dessert buffet too... amazing.

| Danny and Jazmin's first dance |
They hired a mariachi band and it was awesome. Such a fun reception. After all of the usual stuff, they started playing Latin Hip Hop and that's when the party REALLY started! I've never been to such a fun reception!
We were listening to the mariachi band and someone said, look at Robby! He had his pants down and was peeing into the pool. Oh my gosh, he is such a funny boy! I snapped a picture as fast as I could. We were laughing about this all night.
On Saturday, Savannah was baptized!
It was wonderful to be there to support her. Mae and Will sang the cousin's song-- Baptism and I played the piano. Poppy baptized her and Matt loved being there for the confirmation the next day. We sure love Savannah. She is so sweet and we are so happy she is in our family.
On Sunday, Megan and Rob had Jacqueline Elizabeth blessed, Kyle and Brittany blessed their new baby boy, Bentley Asher and Savannah was confirmed. It was so special to be there for everyone! We were able to snap a picture of the Stephens' clan before we had to take off on Sunday afternoon. We love this family of ours! We are so thankful to have such wonderful siblings, grandparents and adorable nieces and nephews. WE had so much fun getting to know them all a little better and just can't wait to see them all again.
We left on Sunday after lunch and got home around 12:30am Monday. What a weekend! It was busy and perfect all at the same time.
**on a side-note: Anyone happen to notice I wore the same dress EVERY DAY?! We had our church clothes all packed in a bag and forgot to put it in the car... 10:00pm at Target on Thursday night, Matt and I were able to pick something out to wear and wore the same thing EVERY DAY! Otherwise, I would have never chosen to wear all black to a wedding, or a baptism for that matter!
