On September 20 we went to the circus with Kathleen, Jonah and my mom. I picked up Jonah to play for a little bit before it was time to go and there happened to be a block party going on in the park behind our house! Mae, Will and Jonah were so excited and we all walked over to check it out. It was put on by D.R. Horton homes. They had food, face painting and three bounce houses. The kids thought it was the most amazing thing ever. Will and Jonah had their faces painted like Spiderman. Mae had a butterfly.
We literally had to sprint home and get in the car to leave for the circus. First we ate at Alberto's -- one of my FAVORITE places to eat in downtown SLC. After that we headed over to the EnergySoluntions Arena. It was such a mad-house. They had all sorts of pre-show things going on and the kids were super anxious about it all.
Will got to sit on a motorcycle so his night was complete!
It was such a fun night!
All of us-- including the adults loved the show. I especially loved the elephants and the little part they did with cats and dogs -- it was hilarious. It was also pretty cool to see the tigers and lions and to see the motorcycles go through the death-trap thing... we were on the edge of our seats the entire show! It was such a fun night! It was so sweet of Kathleen to take us!
